Die Cast Hydraulics for Machine Repair Personnel

CBT/EPSS covering hydraulic aspects of hot metal die cast part forming machines, trim presses, and extractor arms.  CBT dealt with basic concepts like hydraulic components, valve operation, flows, and how to troubleshoot using blue prints. Audience was die cast machine hydraulic repair/maintenance personnel and machine operators.  Program picked up where basic hydraulic training had left off, and covered extremely complicated hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.  Operators had to be instructed on how several different types of die cast machines functioned, and on how to work with skilled trades personnel when troubleshooting the machines.

As PM and Lead ID on this project, I conducted the FEA, scoped and managed budget/schedule, conducted all onsite research, and created content/design document before handing off to another ID who storyboarded the content. Boards were handed off to a graphic artist for 3D modeling and illustration and a developer who built the program in Authorware, which ran on kiosks on the factory floor.
